WEATHER IN THE CENTRAL VIETNAM

Central Vietnam’s diverse geography means weather can vary between the coastal towns and the inland mountains, but two main seasons shape your journey:

  • Dry Season (April – August): Hot, sunny, and perfect for beach days, jungle hiking, and cave exploration. Temperatures average 28°C–38°C.

  • Rainy Season (September – December): Frequent tropical downpours and high water levels. Coastal areas face typhoons, while mountain paths become slippery.

  • Best Time to Visit: January to May. The air is pleasantly cool, skies are crisp, and the landscape is lush and green, making it ideal for self-guided trekking and heritage walks.
